Red hair!

I dyed my hair RED!

So I dyed it with XXL Live Collour Red Passion (I think) 

It was the foam dye and it was really good. Easy to use, and I'd recomend it for sure.

I'm really happy with the results!

Also:

-My lace gloves are from H&M. They used to be full gloves but I cut them today, into fingerless gloves because I was inspired by Helena Bonham Carter (She's my style inspiration!).

-My top is from Next. It was in the sale and it was reduced from £16 to £8. It's got cats wearing bow ties on it. <3

Get the Look: Kate Bush.

Hello, friends :)

Today, I thought I'd make a blog post about something that isn't exactly an outfit.

I bought Company Magazine today (as it had the wonderful Zooey Deschanel on the cover).

When I got home and started reading it, I discovered this wonderful "Get the look" of Kate Bush's make up! I was absolutely over the moon, as Kate Bush is my favourite singer ever and inspires me with her fashion sense, her vegetarianism and her beautiful songs.

So, when I saw I could "steal" her look, I thought "Why not?"

Here's what I did:

As you can see, I've basically just found the nicest green eye shadow I have and blended it around my eyes and just underneath them to create that "Kate Bush look" :)

I'm really happy with how my make up looks here and I think I will do this more or less everyday with different colours. (I have quite a big set of different eye shadow colours).

CONTEST WIN~ ☆

Hello!!~

A couple of weeks ago, I won (another) contest! I was so surprised to win something else :)

Must be on a lucky streak ~

This is the website that the competition was posted on.

All you had to do was comment on the blog post saying what crafts you have made/wanted to make in the future! It was pretty simple, so I figured I might as well have a go (:

The parcel arrived within a couple of days of them posting a blog post saying i'd won!

It came all the way from Scotland ^-^~

Here's what I won:

Inside:

It came with loads of material (half of them were Japanese-looking designs, eeep!) and a couple of other things, like bag handles and a set to make a purse!

Can't wait to start making stuff!

Here's my entry:

Basically, the reason why i look up to (and slightly obsess over, sometimes) Luna, is because she is perfect. Luna is everything I ever wanted to be. She is confident enough to be herself but not too confident to think she is better than everyone else. She wears what she feels is her, no matter what anyone else thinks. Luna is able to see past what people tell her. She manages to see the good in people, and she doesn’t hate anyone.

I have always been considered a little odd. I used to dress differently to others and I didn’t really know much about who I was. Yes, I dressed differently, but most of the time I was just trying to be someone else. Say, I’d look up to someone from a book or a film, and I’d want to be like them. So I’d dress like them and act like them and just want to be them. I found it hard to actually be myself because I didn’t really know who I was.

Then, I found Luna. And yes, for a while I did copy her in a lot of ways because she was so inspiring to me that I did want to be just like her. But what Luna taught me was that it didn’t matter if I felt a little lost about myself and who I was, because we all find ourselves sooner or later. I found myself because of Luna. And I’m able to be myself and get told by people that they even think I’m cool. Which is something I never thought I'd hear. Because of Luna, I’m able to be myself, yet at the same time be inspired by her.

So, that is why I love Luna Lovegood so much.  xxx
