Highlights of 2011.

Helloooo!
Seeing as it's the end of 2011 tomorrow, I figured I should write a list of lovely things that happened to me in 2011, and what I hope to achieve in the next one! :)
Before I start, I want to thank Darcy The Lunatic for writing her own 'Highlights of 2011' on her blog and I'm sorry for stealing the idea :D

Firstly, lets start with Febuary! (since I can't remember any of January).
In Feburary, I went to my very first My Chemical Romance concert and it was the BEST day of my life. MCR are my favourite band and have been for years and years now. So seeing them live was just stunning :)
Also, I met 2 of my amazing friends there, which was awesome.

Then, I spent April the 9th celebrating Gerard Way's Birthday (yes, I was by myself, but it was still fun!)
I made cake for him too !!
I wore my skeleton kigurumi, of course :)

Lets skip ahead to June now, when I had my 16th Birthday. It was by far the best Birthday I've ever had because I had a Mad Hatter's Tea Party! It was super fun.
Here's some pictures: (I dressed up as the Mad Hatter)

~
Then, at the end of June, I had the most amazing holiday ever to Orlando, America. We went to Walt Disney World and The Wizarding World Of Harry Potter.
My sister and me eating breakfast at Denny's. (:

Watching the show in front of the Castle.

I love the entrance to the Wizarding World!

At the entrance to Hogwarts :)

Drinking Butterbeer!!! (Best drink in the world!)

RAVENCLAW PRIDE!!!

With the train conductor!
Meeting him was the best, we were talking about Wrackspurts and everything.

~
Ooh, then it was Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 in the cinema!
I dressed up as Luna Lovegood (:

~

Then in August I went to Bath with my family and had a lovely time. It is such a beautiful city :)
Buuut, I can't actually find any photos from that one, so I'll leave thisssss!
Hope you enjoyed it!

I'll see you guys in 2012 :)

A Very Merry Christmas~!!

Hello friends :)
Sorry for the late post, but as you know it was Christmas a couple days ago and I spent that day, as I'm sure you were too, with my family. I've taken a few pictures of the Christmas decor but I'll post a Christmas outfit/present post asap! (:

Here are the Christmas pictures:
Our tree :)

Our angel :3

Oh, and before I forget, about a week or so ago, I entered a compettion on Facebook to win a Luna Lovegood Cork Charm and I won!
Here's my winning entry:
(The Cork Charm hasn't arrived yet, but as soon as it does I'm going to make a post about it)

Basically, the reason why i look up to (and slightly obsess over, sometimes) Luna, is because she is perfect. Luna is everything I ever wanted to be. She is confident enough to be herself but not too confident to think she is better than everyone else. She wears what she feels is her, no matter what anyone else thinks. Luna is able to see past what people tell her. She manages to see the good in people, and she doesn’t hate anyone.

I have always been considered a little odd. I used to dress differently to others and I didn’t really know much about who I was. Yes, I dressed differently, but most of the time I was just trying to be someone else. Say, I’d look up to someone from a book or a film, and I’d want to be like them. So I’d dress like them and act like them and just want to be them. I found it hard to actually be myself because I didn’t really know who I was.

Then, I found Luna. And yes, for a while I did copy her in a lot of ways because she was so inspiring to me that I did want to be just like her. But what Luna taught me was that it didn’t matter if I felt a little lost about myself and who I was, because we all find ourselves sooner or later. I found myself because of Luna. And I’m able to be myself and get told by people that they even think I’m cool. Which is something I never thought I'd hear. Because of Luna, I’m able to be myself, yet at the same time be inspired by her.

So, that is why I love Luna Lovegood so much. :) xxx

I'm losing my marbles, it's marvelous.

Hello!!!
I hope you're all well :)
I just wanted to do a blog post because yesterday (Sunday) i went to a Christmas Market (In Winchester, I recommend going if you can, they're JUST like the ones in Belgium!)
It rained loads so I didn't take any pictures (Wish I did!) But here's what I managed to get my parents to buy me! (My shoes were falling apart so they gave in)

BROGUE BOOTS!

I love them!
When I first tried them on in Primark, I thought the soles would be too hard and I'd need to get new ones to put in (which wouldn't have been a problem anyway). But when I wore them to College today, without soles, I found they were really comfy! So, they were from Primark (Winchester has a much better Primark than we do here.) and they were £15. I honestly love them to bits. I feel like Peter Pan wearing them :') <3

Oh, and also, here's some pictures of my freshly dyed pink hair. :)

Oh and also at the Christmas Markets, my mum got me this headband! They were only £3 each or 2 for £5, so I got 2. One is blue (the one I took pictures of) and the other is purple.

They're magical. And go quite nicely with my new hair.

They have a website: www.Poppydaisy.com

Yeah. They're just really cute and work well with any outfit (:
And such a good deal for money if you don't have much to spend! :)
I'm going to try and make a couple (with the help of Rookie) after Christmas or something :) I just need a glue gun and some fake flowers...

ALSO! I asked my dad if he had any jumpers he didn't want anymore and he gave me THIS!:

I love it so much :')
Guys jumpers (I keep wanting to write 'sweaters' oops) are amazing. Yup.

Here's the hair dye I used and a Christmassy photo of me to get you feeling festive! :')
(It's called Flamingo Pink) :) It's amazing how much dye you get with just a tiny bottle. I've used this about 3 times and I still have some left!

MERRY CHRISTMAS~!!!

Until next time, <3

what's up? the sky.

Today is not so much an outfit post, but more of a look at the photos i took today.
I went shopping today, but i didn't find anything to buy. Well, i did, but i don't have any money at the moment. (I hate being a job-less teen sometimes.)
Anyway, here's what I wore/looked like today;

(I did actually add a locket necklace to this afterwards. I feel so weird not wearing any jewelry.)

I'm not even sure what colour my hair is anymore... blonde? brown? who knows.

But i am quite pleased with my new eyeliner. It's 'EXTREME' By Collection 2000. It's the felt tip pen one. It's amazing, best eyeliner ever. Ahem.
Oh and also, I'm loving having a super long fringe right now. Makes a change.
I'm not quite sure why i took this, but i really like it.

My pretty gold earrings. My mum gave them to me, I like how they remind me of Audrey Hepburn. Shame I don't magically transform into her when I wear them. Oh well,
Also... Guess what my mum bought me if i promised to go volenteer at the Charity shop (so that i can get experience so that people will actually consider me when i apply for a job.)
....
VOGUE!!!

Yes! I am very happy. Now, i know you must be thinking sami that is a magazine for like £4.10 why are you so happy? But you have to understand, i haven't bought Vogue (or any other fashion mag) for, like,
ever. So it fills me with joy to have this one. Also, it has the beautiful FLORENCE AND THE MACHINE on the cover! And inside, the interview is wonderfully with photos of her looking absolutely ethereal.

And, as if Florence wasn't enough of a treat, i was flicking through it when suddenly, i found THIS:
OH YES. That is a 2 page special (it's special to me) on the one and only Meadham Kitchhoff!
It has a wonderful sort of interviewy thing that talks about how they met each other at Central Saint Martins (my dream University) and they're been working with each other ever since.
They are seriously perfection. I just love them to pieces.
It was nice because it made me stop doubting my talent, and just do whatever i can to try and become a fashion designer. Because i'd been doubting it and thinking about how hard it is to get into the fashion industry, but i think well, i might as well try !
Anyway, i hope you enjoyed this post and i will see you soon!
FYI: Expect a Christmas post anytime now...

I want to be the girl with the most cake.

Hello everyone!!
I'm back and inspired as ever. (But I guess that's what happens when you spend days listening to Hole and daydreaming over Rookie - I literally spend all day on that website!)
So, where have you been?! I hear you ask (I'm not insane, I swear.)
I actually have no excuse. I was just pretty uninspired until now. I do hope to blog more often, even though I am bored with the clothes that I own at the moment. (I need to visit a charity shop ASAP.)
~Anyway, here's today's outfit!~

I guess the main theme for today's outfit was flowers. I adore my flower headband, so I figured why not go all flowery?
Excuse my face.

Make up and necklaces. I'm just wearing this cute blue/purple/pink beaded necklace that is long, but I just twisted it round 3 times to make it into a sort of girly choker. Also, note the homemade cork charm. Luna Lovegood, anyone?

Odd socks in honour of Dobby.

These are the shoes I never showed you before!
I bought these off Ebay because I couldn't find them in stores as they didn't sell them anymore. (They do now!) And, I basically bought them because I saw Luna Lovegood had them in Order of The Phoenix. I was very lucky to find them on Ebay. I think they cost be about £17 in the end. They're so old and holey now but I still treasure them.

My flower headband from Glastonbury. (The place, not the festival.)
People at college, including my Art teacher, kept asking me if I had made the headband myself. I felt pretty sad to say I hadn't. but I'm excited because I'm planning on making one myself!
I'm going to wait till Christmas though, because I've asked for a glue gun so that I can create something hopefully as magical as this.

This is the pattern on my dress.

My earrings. They were given to me by my mum. I really love them.
Dress from H&M, Necklaces - Homemade & gift, Skinny jeans from Primark, Flower headband from a shop in Glastonbury, Socks from Primark.

Hope you enjoyed this post!

All I'd like for Christmas is...

Hey guys! So, it's Christmas in exactly 39 days! (Yes, I counted.)
I'm super excited, mainly for these reasons:
-I get to string fairy lights up all around my house, so my house ends up looking much like my bedroom (a fairy grotto).
-Watching Christmas films and listening to Christmas songs is the best.
-I get presents!! How exciting! I hope I get money, because I really would love to be able to buy myself some (much needed) new clothes.

Anyway, I thought I'd make a little list of things I really want right now. :)

1. Creepers!
I'm still not set on what colour I'd like but I want ones that are vegan because I can't stand leather.
I've found some pretty good priced white ones on Ebay, so I'll probably ask nag my mum for those.

2. Dr Martens!
I just found out that these, although being made from fabric on the outside, they're not actually vegan ):
But, I adore DMs, so i'll just have to make do with these because I love the floral design.

3. Forever 21 Disney jumpers!
They're actually sold out on Forever 21's website right  now which makes me ever so sad, but I'm praying that they will get them back in stock asap, seeing as they're so popular.
Praying.

These are the main 3 things I want the most, and to be honest I can't think of anything else (apart from money). So, I hope you liked this post!
Who's looking forward to Christmas?
Tell me in the comments what you'd like for xmas :)
